According to Fi's news, Everton is preparing to make an official offer of 25 million pounds for Norwich defender Godfrey.
Godfrey is Everton’s number one recruiting target at the central defender. The report claims that after preliminary negotiations, Toffee is ready to make an offer of 20-25 million pounds.
Earlier news said that Norwich had rejected Fulham's purchase of Godfrey, but Everton had not given up.
Norwich coach Falk does not want to lose Godfrey. He regards the player as a key player in the Super League this season.
However, the opportunity to join Everton may attract Godfrey to leave the team.
Because Godfrey's contract expires in three years, Norwich is in a strong position in the transfer.
